Mindfulness—the practice of focusing on the present moment while calmly observing your thoughts and feelings—can reduce stress, and increase self-awareness. The act of creating art is another way to access a meditative state of mind and the profound healing it brings. Join us at the gallery on August 14 for a session on using drawing as a form of meditation led by Scott Ivey, our featured artist this summer.
The session will begin promptly at 6.30pm following beverages and light bites.
